Etowah, North Carolina is a great place to call home. In fact, I live there and have lived here for six years. I moved to this area from Brevard six years ago to enjoy a little more bang-for-the-buck when buying a home. The quiet area that I have raided my kids in and enjoy every day is now my home. You too will enjoy the laid back feel of Etowah and still have everything you need just a short walk or drive away.
The most notable is the Pisgah National Forest just a short fifteen minute drive from this neighborhood if you drive slowly. The largest town nearby is Hendersonville and then about twenty minutes away is the city of Asheville with the Asheville airport only about fifteen minutes away also.
Golf is a way of life in Etowah and many have come here to escape the busy city life to focus on their game and relax. The Etowah Golf Villas community is perfect for that lifestyle. The streets are level for easy walking; you can easily walk to the clubhouse for dinner or other social activities. The beautiful landscaping is all in bloom at this time of year and the homeowners monthly fee takes care of the lawn.
